Care briefings for Georgia

Your concern belongs before the treatment choice

You arrive with a treatment name from an advert. Let the clinician hear the concern behind it before the conversation becomes a choice from a menu.

Describe the concern before the treatment

Write what prompted you to look for care. Say what is bothering you and what has changed. Name the thing you want the visit to clear up.

Make notes on your medicines, supplements, allergies and earlier treatment. Add any records you want to talk through. Include any pregnancy or pregnancy plans among the points you want to raise.

The question behind a lab test

Georgia’s rules checked September 28, 2026 require tests needed to work out the patient’s medical problem, including during online care.

Ask what the test is looking for and what each possible result would change. If several tests are offered as a group, ask what each one is for.

  • Why is this test relevant to my concern?
  • Where is it done, and what is the charge?
  • Who will explain the result?
  • Would the result change the proposed plan?

Leave with reasons, not just a product name

Ask the clinician to put the reasoning into ordinary words. What is the aim? What are the alternatives? What would lead them to pause or change the plan?

It is reasonable to ask for time to read what you have been given. A decision can wait for an answer you understand.
